SendMN NBFI LLC has officially signed on to the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code (WEFC), a global initiative led by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The Code’s Mongolian launch took place on 16 April 2025 at the State Palace, making Mongolia the first country in Central Asia to adopt it.
The Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code (the WE Finance Code or, simply, the Code) is a commitment by FSPs, regulators, development banks, and other financial ecosystem players to work together to increase funding provided to women-led micro, small and medium enterprises (WMSMEs) around the world, so that they can grow and add value to the economy and their communities.
Joining the WEFC marks a significant advance in SendMN’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) agenda. The company will introduce credit products tailored to women‑owned micro, small, and medium‑sized enterprises, ease collateral requirements with more flexible terms, and provide training and mentorship to strengthen financial literacy—measures aimed at enabling women‑led businesses to secure capital more readily and achieve sustainable growth.
