The timeless Mongolian children’s musical “Seeker of Happiness” was successfully staged on June 28, 2025, in Brussels, Belgium, and on July 4, 2025, in Paris, France, captivating international audiences with its poetic storytelling and heartfelt message.
The production was presented under the patronage of the President of Mongolia and organized by the Council of Mongolians Abroad NGO as part of the First World Mongolians Naadam 2025. The Paris performance was held within the framework of the “Nomadic Cultural Education” program and celebrated the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and France.

Originally written in 1961 by acclaimed children’s author D. Sodnomdorj, Seeker of Happiness was reimagined and directed by Associate Professor S. Tsetsegmaa and Dr. B. Bazarragchaa, featuring gifted young performers selected from all 21 provinces of Mongolia. The musical conveys messages of compassion, respect, harmony, and love for nature — values that deeply resonated with audiences across Europe.
