SendMN, Mongolia’s leading fintech in cross-border remittances, has officially launched money transfer services in South Korea through its upgraded SendMN 3.0 app. This expansion enables more than 56,000 Mongolians living and working in Korea to send money directly from their Korean bank accounts to any bank account in Mongolia.
Previously, the SendMN app supported transfers from Australia and Canada. With the addition of South Korea, Mongolian users can now access a more seamless, official, and secure transfer channel directly from the provider they trust.
To start sending from Korea to Mongolia, users simply register in the SendMN app with their Korean mobile number, log in, tap “New Transfer,” and choose South Korea as the sending country.
Before the first transfer, customers must complete a one-time Korea-based residency verification confirming that the user is currently located in Korea. This step is separate from the regular SendMN identity verification. Once completed, transfers will be deposited instantly into any Mongolian bank account.
Since 2016, SendMN has combined traditional remittance expertise with modern technology to deliver fast and secure transfers to more than 170 countries worldwide. The company is preparing to expand its coverage even further, including upcoming remittance routes for Mongolians living across Europe.
